Benoni Gymnasium, Johannesburg

This building located on a triangular site surrounded by 2 main arterial roads became an instant iconic landmark in Benoni. The clients brief was for an industrial shed like structure with minimal finishes. The structures design had to relate to the brands core values of unashamed good health and structured exercise programmes in an un-intimidating environment.

Vodacom Golf Driving Range

Gillooly’s wanted a generic multi level golf driving range with a sporty look. The generic design concept looked at the swing of a golf club as the basis for the roof design. Steel construction with exposed detailed connections allows a sense of security and providing the illusion of a floating roof and floor slab. This floating floor is accentuated by the mast like columns with tension back anchors that support the full length of the structure.

Vodacom Golf Villages – Gillooly’s

This brand is an extension of the well known ‘Vodacom World of Golf’ driving range located in Woodmead, Johannesburg. The project was split into 2 distinct design zones. The first was the restaurant component and the second was the golf driving range area.
